Dr. Samuel McNickle grew up in Stillwater, Oklahoma and attended the University of Central Oklahoma for his undergraduate degree, finishing at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. He was very involved with the American Student Dental Association and mentoring underclassmen. As graduation grew closer, he and his wife decided to make Colorado home, a place they’d loved and traveled to for years.

His love for Colorado began at a very young age. Every summer, his family would spend about a month in Lake City, a tiny little town in southwest Colorado. Coming to Colorado every summer helped Samuel develop a love for hiking, mountain biking, fishing and skiing, hobbies he continues to this day. “I met my wife Calli when we were in fifth grade, and we became good friends in junior high. We started dating when we were juniors in high school, and neither of us has ever looked back. We have been married going on 9 years now. She teaches at Challenger Middle School as a Spanish teacher. She loves her job and living in Colorado.”

Dr. McNickel is the youngest of three brothers. His oldest brother, Zach, is also a dentist and played a big part in him choosing to pursue dentistry. “I love dentistry because it gives me the opportunity to combine several things that I truly enjoy, the biggest of which is getting to help people. I look forward to becoming a part of the team to keep you and your family’s smiles healthy!”
